HUGHES, Tirzah

Source: Kingman Star Jan 3, 1908 but also have Nov 19, 1906 - can't find her anywhere

November 19 –06 – Little TIRZAH MAY came to the home of John and Jessie HUGHES like a ray of light and sunbeam of hope, to gladden the hearts of father, mother, brother and sisters.  She was an unusually bright child with a loving and affectionate disposition and these qualities not only endeared her to the home circle but to all who knew her.  Only 13 months and 10 days was she with us, but ‘t’was long enough to bring sunshine and gladness into our lives and teach us lessons of beauty, trustfulness and patience. The little bud which was unfolding so beautifully has been blasted by the hand of disease and death.  Amid the closing days of the old year the little life went out from us, to begin the new year in that chime where sickness, sorrow, pain and death are unknown.  Hope pierces the veil between earth and heaven and we exclaim with one of old, she can not come to us but we can go to her.

As a cloud of the sunset slow melting in heaven,
As a star that is lost when the daylight is given,
As glad dream, of slumber which wakens in bliss,
Tirzah hath passed to the world of the holy from this. -s
